Cookies
What our website stores in your browser, and why. Last updated 16 October 2026.
Draft for review. These policies must be confirmed before booking opens.
1.How we use cookies
Our website stores a few small pieces of information in your browser, in cookies or in the browser’s own storage. The ones the site needs to work are always on. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Our privacy policy explains how we use personal data.
2.Always on
- joyandpaint.consent (browser storage, 6 months): remembers your cookie choice.
- joyandpaint-checkout-attempt (browser storage, until your payment is finished): keeps your booking together while you pay.
- joyandpaint-booking-token (browser storage, until you close the tab): lets this tab check whether your payment went through.
- payload-token (cookie, 2 hours): keeps the Joy & Paint team signed in to the website admin. It is only set for the team.
- payload-lng (cookie): remembers the admin language a team member chooses. It is only set for the team.
3.Analytics, only with your consent
- jp_ga (cookie, 6 months): a random number that lets Google Analytics tell that two visits come from the same browser.
- jp_ga_E5LJ62SR0X (cookie, 6 months): keeps track of the current visit.
Google Analytics sets these on joyandpaint.com for us. Its advertising features are off, and it never runs on booking, payment or admin pages. If you withdraw your consent, we delete these cookies. Google’s privacy policy explains how Google handles this data.
4.Other websites
When you pay, you move to Stripe’s secure checkout page, which uses its own cookies; see Stripe’s cookie policy. Links to Instagram or Google Maps open those websites, which have their own cookies.
5.Managing cookies
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to accept or withdraw analytics. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings; we will then ask for your choice again.
